Danny Vaughn

Image Danny has a relaxed attitude and likes to interact with the audience.   The music is good and you can just tell Danny enjoys playing it live.   Not frightened to mix with the crowd before and after a gig, but you get the distinct impression Danny underestimates his skills and entertainment value.   Perhaps similar to Jeff Scott Soto in many ways,   works hard to find that illusive break to bring the big time – and he certainly deserves it.

After the enjoyment Danny and Tony (aka The Taxi Driver) had given us all during the Journey tour Danny and his band did a small tour in the UK.

This was certainly a tour to remember fron Danny Vaughn.  I was at the Newcastle show and I can tell you this was a HOT event.   You know when you go to a show and you are REALLY dissapointed when it's over?  Well when the night was over at Clunys I was just numb...  I really could have enjoyed another set.  The crowd went wild at the pure energy from this group, a past paced set showing just what these guys can do.  You may have heard the "Traveler" album and thought it was good, but live the way the band performed these song was tremendous.

I can only say one thing - Danny, Tony, and the rest of the guys - come back SOON!!!

The tour was also to promote the new album Traveller of which some accoustic versions of the tracks had been previously played in the warm up for the Journey concert, now we could hear it played with the full band.

The Show started with Divide Issue followed by Crimes of Passion - who themselves will probably be seen more during the coming years.

Note:- Much to everyone's suprise this was the only tour and album to date, Danny has now gone on to sing for the Illegal Eagles who are to do a long tour of the UK in 2008 - We look forward to that!
