Jo's 40th Birthday Bash

When it comes to people that you get the pleasure of meeting, some stand out more than others. Since we first got to know Jo she has given us all much pleasure as both a Journey fan and a valued friend. 29th of March 2008, we traveled from as far north as Scotland, and as far south as Southampton to attend Jo's birthday bash in a club in Sunderland, and you can see from the photos just a sample of the many friends that Jo has. You will see from the photo's, the DJ didn't want to play any Journey, even argued with Cathy - a bad move for any man, but he was eventually foiled as Jo came through as usual and supplied the DJ with a Journey CD. I think that was the first time of the evening the dance floor was filled, but thankfully not the last.
It was a great night from start to finish, starting at the pre-party gathering at the hotel, on the minibus to the party, at the party, and afterward we had shots of Tequila back at the hotel. In the morning we all gathered for a light breakfast, eventually joined by Mike who I must say was definitely showing signs of wear from the night before! - Jo, this our tribute to you, and long may our friendship last.
