Well, it was a glorious week for UK Journey fans. Starting in Edinburgh, then south to the Monsters of Rock, and then the grand finalle in Manchester.

We were lucky enough to take in all three shows. Edindurgh had rocked, but Manchester was no let down. Journey rocked the whole theatre in fine style. This was a SELL OUT audience and I don't think anyone was dissapointed.

We had stayed in the south on England rather than travel all the way back to Scotland just to come most of the way back down again, and had commited to drive home after the show - that way I at least got chance to recover before work! So, we got into Manchester and at the Apollo around mid day. One of Journey's coaches was already there, and the trucks with the gear in were parked close by. We had hardly been there 5 minutes when Dean's tech came out and asked the obvious question "are there any Journey fans here"? Karen and Rachel leaped to their feet and the tech gave Rachel a full set of drumskins from Monsters of Rock and a drum stick - WOW!

There was more to come though, just when we thought it could not get any better another big grey coach pulled up - YES - this one had the guys on it! They had a little time with the fans on ytheir way into the venue, and Dean had gone straight in came back out for a while. Pictures were taken and autographs given - Rachel got her drumstick signed by Dean too.

All in all a fine night to remember and one for the history books for all Journey fans, lets hope for many more UK tours in the future from Journey.
