Well, it was a glorious week for UK Journey fans. Starting in Edinburgh, then south to the Monsters of Rock, and then the grand finalle in Manchester.

We were lucky enough to take in all three shows. Edindurgh had rocked, The next stop was Monsters of Rock. The weather was good as you can see from the pictures. Not as good a show for me, I think the drive down overnight had really taken it's toll - I was shattered having had just a couple of hours sleep.

We got there just as Ted Nugent started doing his spot. This place was big and was probably only about one tenth full compared to how many the venue could hold, but even despite this it was not easy to get close to the stage.

As Journey came on stage the crowd quickly gathered. There were quite a few there who had never even heard of Journey, but after Journey's spot I think we had a few more converts. The couple sat behind us had said who are Journey before the spot, but afterwards made a vow to see them again next time Journey visit these shores. I wonder if they will be at any of the shows in 2007:)

All in all a fine day to remember and another one for the history books for all Journey fans, lets hope for many more UK tours in the future from Journey.
