-=Palm Springs - December 2005 =-

Here we have the pictures taken in Palm Springs. Our first visit to the USA and boy did the Journey fans we met from Backtalk give us a good time. We enjoyed meeting them all, and we had a great time.

You can see from the photo's just how fantastic the views were, and the sun too - remember this was December and we were walking around in summer gear - try doing that in the UK.

The locals were quite friendly as well, always time for a chat.

Thanks go to the lady driving the little yellow taxi that showed us the cheap shops.

For those who don't know - United Airlines managed to loose all our belongings on the flight over - most of which will never be replaced sadly...

You might wonder if we would go again - Hell Yeah!!!

The pictures show the main hotel we stayed at, and the hotel we moved to for our pre-show night out where we went up the arial tramway, and the PCasino in Palm Springs where the show was held.

Nice valet parking and we had an awsome pre show party before leaving to make the 400 mile journey north to San Francisco where we got a guided tour of Fishermans Wharf - thats another set of clips:) Oh, and don't take photos at the airport - the locals don't like it!

Notice also in the pics you will see the Journey coaches where the band would have spent much of their time during the tour.

We bumped into various members of the group, but tried to respect their privacy as well, We were lucky enough to have backstage passes after the show - met the guys and got some photos.

2007 sees some of the fans we met in USA coming to the UK - I hope we can show them a good time to show our thanks!
