Born 27 February 1954, near Oklahoma, USA
Neal is probably best known as the guitarist and founder member of the rock band Journey. Neal has also been part of several other bands, as well as doing recordings under his own name.
At the age of 15 when Neal attended jam sessions ran by Carlos Santana which influence him to pursue his rock and roll dreams at the age of 15. Neal played on some of Santana’s classic releases before leaving them with Gregg Rolie in 1973 leading to the formation of Journey. When Steve Perry joined Journey in 1978 the band really started to take off until Journey split in 1987. Neal then played with Bad English and Hardline as well as launching his solo career.

Marco has worked with a number of famous rock bands such as Thin Lizzy, and Whitesnake to name a couple, and he’s worked with artists like Ozzy Osbourne and Ted Nugent.

Marco lives in Los Angeles and has two sons, Marco and Aaron, and two daughters Eva and Faith.
Probably the main reason Marco started playing the base, was that he was asked to join a local band who needed a base player. He even had to borrow and learn to play it in a hurry.

Born November 4, 1965, in Brooklyn New York
He moved to California at the age of eight. Some of the influences on Jeff in his early years were bands like Queen, Journey, and also the Jackson Five.
After Jeff graduated from high school in 1983 he tried forming a few metal bands with his older brother, but these never came to anything. His big break came after a year staying with a friend in Colorado with a band called Rising Force with Yngwie J. Malmsteen. Jeff is a very talented musician who gives great entertainment and is an artist in his own right. Jeff has released quite a few albums under his own name and is also a great hit at the Queen conventions.

Born in Melbourne, Australia
He started playing with his father’s show band at a very early age. Joined his first rock band at the age of 15. Virgil plays the drums (excellently as we all know), but can also play the piano.
Virgil learned his skill by dedication and hard practice – he tried to learn as many different styles as he could by listening to records.
Ian Paice of Deep Purple was a big influence on Virgil. Virgil is a very talented drummer. He does credit to the band, and his drumming is a real pleasure to listen to.

The first and only album World Play introduced the unique sound of Soul Sirkus that I'm sure will be hard to match again.
With Neal Schon's singing guitar which we know only too well sounds absolutely amazing, Marco Mendoza on the bass is probably one of the best bass guitarists on the scene, Virgil Donati with his vibrant and exciting drum playing, all topped off with fine vocals by Jeff Scott Soto. All in all a very solid and entertaining combination we thought would go far.
The music from Soul Sirkus is the type of music you want to play LOUD, the excitement and the beat, rhythm, looked like a band to watch for the future.
The teamwork and rapport, I think these guys could go out and put on a good show with little more than a warm up even after months playing apart.
We had expected a tour lined up for early in 2006 but alas this never happened - There was mutterings that Neal Schon had footed the bill and sales had not gone well in the States. Apart from that brief showing Soul Sirkus was never to be seen again....
